The plaza site is very active! The ground pavers have been busy installing the artwork of Robyn Sparrow, titled ‘Walking with our Ancestors.’

Robyn was selected through an open call to Musqueam artists. Robyn’s inspiration came to her when she was thinking about our ancestors in awe of their strength, integrity, perseverance, and just how they paved the way for future generations. Robyn mentions in her artist statement, “It is so ironic that they paved the way for us today, without knowledge of it back then. By creating this design, ‘Walking with our Ancestors’, I am trying to pave the way for future generations on our traditional territory.”
